CreditCheck A System Agent (formerly known as Authorization Manager) which controls credit information on a PixelPoint POS network. Any type of credit transaction processed is handled by this manager which can include authorizations for credit cards, authorizations from PMS systems and in-house account billing for members. When active, credit requests can be made from any POS terminal and responses (approvals or declines) are sent back to the user within seconds. Since AuthManager is a background process, requests are processed in the background freeing up the terminal for use by another user or for processing other orders on any other transaction. StockBoy Perpetual inventory management is sometimes critical in those environments that rely on the information generated by the POS in order to reduce overall food and beverage costs. StockBoy is a 32-bit manager, which monitors and manages the flow of "raw materials" in PixelPoint POS. When StockBoy is active on the POS network, certain features in the POS such as recipe explosion and warehouse transfers become active. PixelPoint 2000 comes standard with many inventory features which allow restaurant operators to track product sales, product usage, and inventory usage by allowing the operator to build recipes for any product. Using these standard features, the operator does not need to have to input inventory purchases as they come in, and still be able to retrieve reports that indicate food or beverage costs, products sold or inventory used between any date range. Here is a case using PixelPoint 2000's standard inventory features: A product called "Screwdriver" can be setup to contain an inventory item called "Vodka". Let’s say that each Screwdriver sells for 5.00 and contains 1.5 oz of Vodka, and the Vodka costs 1.00 per oz. When 10 Screwdrivers are sold, the POS system can report that the restaurant has: Sold 10 Screwdrivers and collected 50.00 The cost of selling these 10 screwdrivers is 15.00 The liquor cost is 30% 15 oz of Vodka was used StockBoy enhances this inventory process by allowing the operator to monitor the levels of inventory items in one or more warehouses. To continue on the above case, in a perpetual inventory environment the operator would be required to input purchases made at all times -- when 12 bottles of Vodka are purchased, they would need to be added to the system. The operator can now access information such as: Re-order reports for low inventory items Real-time inventory levels on any inventory item Warehouse transfer reports, and so on. Produce variance reports between POS values and physical inventory count values. StockBoy further enhances the perpetual inventory environment by allowing restaurant managers to enter their physical inventory counts at any POS terminal. This is a function which has proved to increase inventory efficiency by eliminating backlogs of paperwork that would otherwise be created should the user be forced to input this information at a later time.

PixelPoint provides seamless integration with a kitchen display system capable of controlling up to 16 remote color VGA/SVGA monitors and keypads.
